He brings his expertise at making our photography projects accessible to everyone, from a lengthy stint acting as the Contributing How-To Editor with Popular Science magazine. While you don’t have to actually build each of his projects, reading about these adventures will contribute to your continued overall appreciation of do-it-yourself photography. After reading a photographic magazine, have you ever wanted to purchase every back issue and grab a subscription for adding to your reference library? Well, that magazine is SilvergrainClassics. Published four times per year since 2019 in Germany, this glossy, oversized magazine is major voice in the analog photography community. Contributing to this magazine’s diverse content is a wide variety of news, reviews, and guest contributor portfolios.

In a nod to photographers seeking SilvergrainClassics back issues for fleshing out a library collection, a select number of vintage magazines are available for a limited time through September 25. This group includes Issues 7, 11, 13, 16, 18, 20, and 23. These issues are priced at $9.22 each. Furthermore, Issue 27 is now available for $23.22 which features a set of Elliot Erwitt’s formerly unpublished photographs.

Another Great Film Photography Magazine
