SC_NX_B01_13We might as well give up on trying to figure out whether or not Samsung cameras are dead or not, because every week we come across new, contradicting information about whether or not Samsung is actually planning to shutter its camera business.

A new report from Korean news website EDaily says Samsung is set to release a new mirrorless camera (and possibly more) at the upcoming CES show in January. Specifically, the report mentions a possible replacement for Samsung’s NX1 or NX500 models.

There’s little evidence to back up this report, but with how back-and-forth this rumor has been, there’s no point in trying to dissect it at this point. The only thing we’ll be able to rely on is time.

CES 2016 is set to take place from January 6th through the 9th, so we only have a month and a week to wait and see if this particular rumor comes to fruition.
