Kodak launches Mini Shot, 10MP camera with tiny instant prints

Despite the recent difficulties, Kodak has launched a new product. Kodak Mini Shot is a new 10MP instant camera from this company, and it’s a crossover between a point-and-shoot, instant and toy camera. It allows you to print the images instantly, but also to post them to your Instagram feed as you take them.

The Kodak Mini Shot lets you produce credit-card-sized prints using the 4Pass Printing Technology. It takes 50 seconds to print one photo, and you can choose between two types of paper: 2.1 x 3.4-inch or 2.1 x 2.1-inch with adhesive backing.

The camera lets you control the settings like autofocus, exposure, white balance and gamma color control. It comes with Bluetooth integration, which allows you to edit, share, save and transfer images across several iOS or Android devices. You can view your images on the camera’s 1.7-inch LCD display. To edit them, you need to download the Kodak app, and from there you can post the photos on social media and print them when you’re happy with the edit.

Kodak Mini Shot is available for orders on Amazon. It costs $100 and you can get it in Available in black, white or yellow.

Although this camera isn’t the solution for professional prints or anything like it, it can be a fun gadget to play with. You can use it to create some instant memories for the people you meet on travels or who pose as your subjects. All in all, at this price, I think it’s worth a shot (no pun intended) if you want something between an instant and a digital camera.
