Two teens responsible for killing photographer to be tried as adults, could be sentenced to life

In September current year, photographer Victoria Schafer tragically lost her life after she was hit by a falling branch of a tree. Two teenagers were taken into custody after the tragedy, and they confessed that they had been involved in the incident. According to the latest reports, the two 16-year-olds are due to be tried as adults. They are charged with murder, involuntary manslaughter, felonious assault, and reckless homicide, and they could reportedly face a life sentence.
Victoria Schafer of Chillicothe was taking senior photos of six high school students near Old Man’s Cave at Hocking Hills State Park when the tree branch fell on her. The tragedy happened on 2 September around 5:30 p.m. The students called 911, but the 44-year-old photographer was pronounced dead at the scene.
Shortly after the tragedy, two students were taken into custody and later admitted pushing the log off the cliff. According to Inside Edition, one of them had texted another student saying that he had done “something serious” at the park.
The teens were identified as Jaden Churchheus and Jordan Buckley, both 16 years old. FStoppers reports that they have been issued a $100,000 bond each. And according to NBC4i, they are being charged as adults and they could face life in prison.

It’s called justice.
Were they intending to hurt her? They were trying to hurt someone?
Cathy Essex-Specht while the murder charge probably won’t stick (because that normally conotates pre-meditation), everything else will.
Do stupid, dangerous things and you’re going to face the consequences. They were dumb and pushed a log over a cliff without even bothering to check if someone might be below them.
