The Loupedeck CT now works with DaVinci Resolve, Avid, Cubase, and any other software you want

The Loupedeck CT is Loupedeck’s most recent control deck, launched in October last year. It features native support for much of the Adobe CC suite of applications, along with Final Cut Pro X, Ableton Live and as of today, Streamlabs. Also new today, Loupedeck has announced a major new feature for the Loupedeck CT – the Loupedeck Profile Creator.

The Loupedeck Profile Creator allows Loupedeck CT users to create their own custom profiles for any application they like, even if it doesn’t have native integration. It’s being launched with example profiles for applications including DaVinci Resolve, Avid Pro Tools, Cubase, and even non-creative tools like Microsoft Excel.

The new integration allows the Loupedeck CT to talk with any software. It sounds a lot like the fancy gaming keyboards with macro keys that can be programmed to do just about whatever you want, but the Loupedeck CT is more than just buttons, with its dials and doohickies that offer a lot more options than simple buttons.

As part of the launch for the new Loupedeck Profile Creator, several example profiles are being released for a number of popular applications.

But these are only the ones that the folks at Loupedeck have made (so far). Loupedeck CT users are now free to create their own for any other application and, presumably, they will be able to export them to share with others. While it’s not quite the native support that we see for the Adobe CC suite, this makes the Loupedeck CT infinitely more useful to a great many people.

As well as the Loupedeck Profile Creator, Loupedeck has also announced native integration with Streamlabs, allowing users to easily control their stream and switch between scenes, hide and unhide unwanted sources, or skip/mute events, control the audio levels of different sources and use it as a live mixer in studio mode while broadcasting.

Personally, I’m excited to play with the Loupedeck in DaVinci Resolve. It’s something I’ve been hoping for for a long time. I can also see it coming in very handy for a number of other applications I use on a regular basis. It will be interesting to see what software other people integrate the Loupedeck CT into in the coming weeks.
