Other than the tiniest full frame mirrorless, there are a few more novelties from Sigma today. Three of them, to be exact. Sigma has just announced three out of four rumored lenses for Sony FE: the 35mm f/1.2 Art, 45mm f/2.8, and the 12-24mm f/2.8 Art. We finally have more details of the specs, prices, and availability, so let’s check them out.
Sigma 35mm f/1.2 DG DN Art
The Sigma 35mm f/1.2 DG DN Art is Sigma’s first prime lens with f/1.2 maximum aperture. It’s designed for full frame Sony cameras, but you can use it on APS-C models and get a 53mm equivalent focal length. Sigma promises fast, quiet and accurate AF, as well as excellent sharpness and color accuracy.

The Sigma 45mm f/2.8 DG DN is a compact and lightweight lens made for full-frame Sony E-mount cameras. When used on APS-C models, it provides a 68mm equivalent focal length. It also offers good optical performance, fast and accurate AF, as well as pleasing bokeh thanks to its 7-blade diaphragm.

Last but definitely not the least, there’s the Sigma 14-24mm f/2.8 DG DN Art. Again, you can pair it with your full frame Sony mirrorless camera, or use it on a crop body and get a 21-36mm equivalent focal length range. This lens also features a fast, accurate and near-silent AF performance. Sigma promises high image quality, and smooth bokeh thanks to the eleven-blade diaphragm.

All three lenses are available for preorders and expected to start shipping in mid-August 2019. We don’t know what happened to the fourth of the rumored lenses, though, but perhaps it will be launched later this year. As for the available three lenses, these are the prices:
