This is what Instagram addiction would have been like in the 18th century

Ikea is one of those names that seems to pop up often for photographers. They sell so many products that can be hacked or modified to work in completely different ways. Occasionally, their products also give us a good laugh, too.
This time, Ikea’s giving us something to giggle about themselves with their newest commercial. It shows what Instagram might have looked like in the 18th century.
Well, when you put it like that, Instagramming your food does seem awfully silly. No doubt there’ll be Instagram foodies out there who want to be offended, though.
Thankfully, food photos seem to be dwindling from the feeds when I open up Instagram lately. Is that because people have quit shooting them so much? or has their new sorting algorithm actually done some good?
What do you think of Ikea’s new ad? Have you noticed fewer food photos showing up when you load Instagram? Do you still Instagram your food? Let us know in the comments.

I have shot images of some meals I have cooked in the past for the first time that turned out good. Or if I try a new food that I have never tried before I will snap a shot. I don’t do it to often.
