Fujifilm has just dropped the X-T30 III. Priced at $999, this is a mirrorless wonder that wants to prove you don’t need a huge body to make huge images. The camera weighs in at just 378 g (battery and card included) and sticks with that charming retro “center viewfinder style” design that makes you feel like a photography pro—even if your last photo was of your lunch.

Inside the sexy little body is a X-Trans CMOS 4 26.1 megapixel sensor (fancier than it sounds) plus the hot-new X-Processor 5. Translation: faster processing, sharper images, and autofocus that’s all grown up. The web site claims “about twice as fast” as the previous model.
Film It, Like a Fujifilm Camera
But wait—there’s more! The X-T30 III gets a full, dedciated Film Simulation dial. Yes, you can spin a physical dial and say “I want that film look” like you’re time-traveling to the 80s—but with modern technology. It offers 20 different film simulation modes, including REALA ACE (for faithful color and tonal gradation) and NOSTALGIC Neg. (for soft-toned vibes). You can even save up to three custom recipes (FS1 to FS3) so you can whip out your favorite looks in a snap.

While it keeps beloved bits like a pop-up flash and an AUTO shooting mode lever (built-in convenience for those “just point and shoot” moments) the X-T30 III also adds 6.2K/30P video recording. So yes, you can shoot it, like you mean it.

In sum: if you’re a photography enthusiast who wants a compact, stylish camera with serious chops—this little Fujifilm morsel might be your golden ticket. It blends retro aesthetics with modern performance, gives you creative film-style looks at a twist of a dial, and doesn’t force you to lug around a monster body.

Just be forewarned: once you try this camera, your phone’s camera may start feeling jealous.
Pricing and Availabilty
As mentioned, the Fuji X-T30 III is priced at $$999 ($1,149 with a 13-33mm f/3.5-6.3 lens). You can preorder it now and expect it to start shipping on December 15.
Enjoy.
