We have covered Irix in the past so you know that I am super excited to be able to share with you their newest lens. The Irix 30mm T1.5 Cine is an absolute beast in the field and is objectively a beautiful lens. Check out this video we made with a bunch of test shots.

I still want to run in the lens through its paces, but here are some things you should know. The lens is extremely sharp! It stops down beautifully. The bokeh has a very circular look. But all this is peanuts next to my favorite update.  They finally fixed the awkward lens cap. You now get a dedicated inscribed perfectly snug-fitting lens cap for the lens.

We don’t want to dig in too deep right now, but we just could wait to share the results. Stay Tuned for our full review soon.
