The 3rd edition of Analog Forever.

Printed magazines and newspapers continue to recede into oblivion under the crushing heel from the burgeoning onslaught of the digital age. Surprisingly, a small corner of the print world continues to flourish despite this growing digital ubiquity. Magazines that cater to film photography have a devoted subscriber base that would make even some digital press markets green with envy.

Analog Forever is a 7-year old publication that squeezes approximately 10 photographer portfolios that are accompanied by insightful interviews of each artist into a handsomely printed softbound, roughly 150+ photos journal. Further endearing film fans to this format is that Analog Forever is limited to the publication of one-two editions per year. Each issue currently costs $45.

A Collector’s Treasure Trove

Landmark back issues of Analog Forever can be purchased from Freestyle Photo & Imaging. Delightful issues, like the highly sought after Edition 3 from Winter 2020, are available for the incredibly low cost of $25. These collector’s issues are being sold in limited quantities. This particular issue is a tantalizing purchase due to the inclusion of photographers Judy Dater and David Burnett. By including both of these photographers, this issue of Analog Forever becomes a must read journal. In fact, reading any issue of Analog Forever will quickly convert you into a lifelong subscriber. And how many digital offerings can make that kind of claim?

Enjoy.
