What reads like “deja-vu all over again,” Panasonic has unveiled the new Panasonic Lumix L10, a premium compact camera designed for photographers who want professional-level image quality in a portable body. Bearing more than a passing resemblance to the Leica D-Lux 8, the new L10 has a tentative shipping date of 17 June 2026.

Announced as part of the company’s 25th anniversary celebration for the Lumix brand, the L10 combines retro-inspired styling with modern imaging technology aimed at street, travel, and everyday photography enthusiasts.
At the heart of the camera is a 20.4-megapixel Micro Four Thirds back-illuminated CMOS sensor paired with a Leica DC Vario-Summilux 24–75mm equivalent lens featuring a bright f/1.7–2.8 aperture. This setup promises strong low-light performance, smooth background blur, and versatile framing options for landscapes, portraits, and close-up shots.
Special Anniversary Trim
A Titanium Gold Special Edition LUMIX L10 will also come with several exclusive features. In addition to the standard accessories, this special edition includes an automatic lens cap, shoulder strap, and lens cloth. Be forewarned, however, this unique model will be limited to specific sales channels and regions.
