Judging from recent reports, we’ll see Nikon’s 58mm f/0.95 S Noct lens very soon. But it looks like Nikon isn’t the only company introducing a super-fast lens this year. A few leaked images show NiSi Rumiere APO 75mm f/0.95 FE, a new lens which should also be introduced very soon.

NiSi jumped into the lens market not so long ago. Last spring, the company introduced five cine lenses available in three different mounts. It appears that the Rumiere APO 75mm f/0.95 is coming in Sony FE mount, but we don’t know if it will be available in other mounts as well.

According to Sony Alpha Rumors, the new NiSi lens is manual focus. We don’t know the expected price yet, but it will likely be cheaper than the $8,000 Nikkor 58mm f/0.95 S Noct. And while we’re at the Nikon’s new lens, there are some interesting similarities between it and NiSi’s lens. As pointed out on Sony Alpha Rumors, the NOCT logo and font choice are very similar to those on Nikon’s lens. You can see more in another leaked photo below.

It’s possible that the NiSi Rumiere APO 75mm f/0.95 will be introduced during this year’s PhotoPlus Expo, which will take place 24-26 October. We’ll wait and see, and let you know as soon as we know more.
