KFC Wedding Photo

It’s not uncommon for couples to incorporate certain objects, people or locations in their wedding photographs, as many times they, either as individuals or as a couple, have a connection with a special something.

What is uncommon is for that place to be fast food restaurant KFC. But that’s exactly what happened during the wedding of Ashleigh Davis and husband Louis.

After spending five years together, the couple decided to tie the knot. During the bridal party photos, the couple took a bit of a detour from the traditional wedding photos to stop by a little fast food place that Louis also held a special place in his heart for. Kentucky Fried Chicken, more affectionately referred to as KFC.

In speaking to the NZ Herald, Louis said:

I knew we were going to take the classic, cheesy photos. She had the team of photographers, team of videographers to get the classic shots. But I knew the photos that are crack up and the ones you look back on are where you’re doing something different

This wasn’t Louis’ first trip to KFC that day either. Below is a Facebook post he shared before the ceremony took place:

Not nervous, just hungry.KFC breakfast with the lads I think?

As to whether or not he was hoping to receive free KFC for life for the image, Louis told the NZ Herald, ‘that would probably be a dangerous thing, to be honest. I should at least get a snack box though.’
