If you are reading the blog for a while, you know that I am a big Lensbaby fan. A Lensbaby (any lensbaby) is a very powerful creative tool to have in your arsenal. If you are not familiar with Lensbabies, they are a family of creative lenses that provide in-camera focusing effects. If you are not sure, just hit the jump to see both the lenses and the sample photos. You know you have to have them.

Today I am happy to announce that DIYP teamed up with Lensbaby to giveaway two awesome lenses: a Composer Pro w/Sweet 50 and a Special Edition Spark. WE wanted to keep this really fun and simple so all you have to do is put your name and email in the box below and hit enter. As always should you or any member of the MI force should be caught oops wrong operation. As always we do provide extra entries if you share the giveaway (but you don’t need to log into facebook if you don’t wanna) and we do encourage international participation.

About The Giveaway

YAY! we will select two winners from planet earth who love (LOVE) photography to receive one lens each.  All you have to do to enter this giveaway is to put your email and name on the form above and hit enter by January 26th. We will then randomly select two winners.

Why the Composer Pro w/Sweet 50 is cool:

The Composer Pro with Sweet 50 provides photographers with precise control over their composition. The Composer Pro’s metal swivel ball design and ultra-smooth manual focusing ring delivers steady, fluid control over the focus and tilt making it the perfect choice for photographers looking to create ground breaking creative imagery.

The Composer Pro ships with the Sweet 50 Optic installed. The Sweet 50, a 50mm, f/2.5 selective focus optic features internal aperture blades making it easy to change your aperture and adjust the amount of effect on the fly. This lens delivers a sweet spot of sharp focus that photographers can move around the photo by tilting the Composer Pro’s swiveling lens body. The 50mm, versatile focal length allows you to create atmosphere and motion, elevating ordinary images to new levels.

Why the Special Edition Spark is cool:

The Special Edition Spark is a fun and affordable way to capture selective focus images with digital SLRs. Compared to the regular Spark, it features a faster optic, with the added versatility of interchangeable aperture disks and a selection of creative apertures.

The Special Edition Spark features a 50mm f/2 selective focus optic and a tilting lens body, allowing the aspiring enthusiast photographer to capture creative images in-camera that have a sharp sweet spot of focus, surrounded by blur.

The lens includes three regular apertures and nine specially shaped creative apertures. Shapes cut into the apertures will appear anywhere bright points of light are out of focus in an image (i.e., decorative lights at night or the sun shining through leaves). Apertures drop into the front of the lens and are held in place by shielded magnets. A tool is included to swap out the disks
