Quickly and quietly emerging from the perpetually backordered stock list, DIYP has learned that the Fujifilm X100VI “should be” available for purchase on 29 or 30 April 2026. Now priced at $1,799 for either the silver or black models, interested photographers can sign up for an email availability announcement, today.

Therefore, if you’ve had your heart set on owning this elusive camera, you should make a beeline to B & H Foto and Electronics Corp for adding your name to the growing notification list. The silver model sign-up is here and the black model assistance request is here.

X100VI Alternatives

If you’d rather not wait, or pay $1,799 for a new camera, there are alternatives. The used market is a great place to find slightly worn examples of the older models in the Fujifilm X100 lineup.

For example, the fourth model in the X100 family of this compact camera, the X100F black model, is currently priced at $1,399. The condition is noted with “minor surface marks” and is sold with a 90 warranty.

Back to the new X100VI, here is a reminder of the key features with this camera:

  • 40.2MP APS-C Sensor
  • Fujinon 23mm f/2 Lens
  • X-Processor 5 Image Processor
  • Five-axis Sensor-Shift Stabilization
  • Hybrid Viewfinder
  • 20 Film Simulations

Enjoy.
