The imaging hardware remains the same

The telescope uses a 30 mm ED apochromatic objective with a 160 mm focal length and a fast f/5.3 focal ratio. Extra-low dispersion glass helps suppress chromatic aberration, improving sharpness and color correction when imaging both terrestrial and astronomical subjects.

Behind the optics, it has Sony’s IMX585 STARVIS 2 CMOS sensor, one of the most popular modern sensors for compact astronomical cameras. Its relatively large pixels, low read noise, and improved near-infrared sensitivity allow the telescope to capture faint nebulae, star clusters, galaxies, the Moon, and the Sun with impressive efficiency for its size.
