I’ve never been a massive fan of the whole “Fix it in Photoshop” (or Lightroom, in this case) mentality, but it does undoubtedly offer its benefits, especially when the conditions under which you’re able to get the shot may be out of your control.
In this video from Swiss landscape photographer and YouTuber, YuriFineart, we see a technique that allows us to go from a simple snapshot into something a little more interesting.
Starting off with the typical snap many of us might grab during a holiday or day out on an overcast day, Yuri takes us through the process from starting with this…
…an image that would likely be either deleted or simply forgotten about until the end of time, into this…
…which has one or two noticeable issues, but is still a whole lot better than the original.
While much of the choices made in the video are based solely on personal taste, it’s a great introduction to a variety of processes and techniques available within Lightroom to improve the processing on your images.

Does this come under the category of, “Don’t spend time polishing your turds”?…looks ok and perhaps it’s my monitor, but the whites look muddy.
There’s are no bad pictures. Just different opinions
His voice remind me of Oliver Age 24. Also final products are of similar quality.
