Paper Camera1

Cameras have been getting smaller and smaller with each passing year. This particular one might just take the cake though–at least in the thinness category.

Meet the Paper Retro Camera, a 6mm thin cardboard camera that’s fully capable of capturing 1.3-megapixel stills, 720p video and audio.

Paper Camera2

With a still image resolution of 1,280 × 1,024 pixels, it’s not going to blow even the junkiest of smartphones out of the water, but it’s an interesting novelty camera nonetheless.

The Paper Retro Camera features an LED light, an on/off button, a mode button a microSD/SDHC card slot and a built-in USB 2.0 port for directly plugging into your computer.

Paper Camera3

The camera weighs only 43 grams and is slightly larger than your standard business card.

Below is video and stills captured with the camera.

Paper Camera4

You can pick one up here for 3,299 yen (approximately US$28)
