Think Tank FINALLY adds a laptop pocket to their airport international

I am not going to hide it, I am a big Think Tank fan. In fact the bag we used to carry around in photokina is a ThinkTank Roller Derby. I do own an Airport International as well (see review here), but if I need a laptop, it was out of the question. It has no laptop pocket.

So the fact that Think Tank finally added a laptop pocket to the bag will probably make a lot of people happy.

Both the Airport International and the Airport Security roller bags have been upgraded with a laptop pouch, a better handle (bye bye annoying zipper) and some better plastics. (if you ever wondered about the diff, the international will fit on all international flights, while the security will also do domestics).

This was also the first time for me to see the Airport Advantage which can be used in paddle hoppers or other small planes. It is really narrow to fit in small overhead compartments. There is a laptop pocket in the front, but it is not padded. It’s a very light bag (only 2.75kg vs about 6kg on the regular Airport Security),

The last bag we saw was from Mindshift gear – the Mindshift Pack.  and it’s a day travel bag. It has some padded space for a small DSLR or mirrorless. You can get it in black or red, and it has plenty of space for food and clothing. We are not sure about availability, but the price will be around $300.
