Solar eclipse, super moon, meteor showers… There are many astronomy events that you can observe and shoot throughout the year, but they require some planning. To help you out with this, Telescope Guide has published an astronomy guide for 2021 and 2022. It will be your best friend for planning your astrophotography shots, and it’s completely free to download.

The guide comes as a downloadable PDF booklet so you can save it on your phone. Alternatively, you can access it via your browser if that’s more convenient for you. In the guide, you’ll find the dates of astronomy events such as lunar eclipses, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Venus and their positions best for observing, and meteor showers. But also, there are useful tips and tricks for the best times and methods of observing each of these events. Two super moons and a partial solar eclipse are already behind us, so they’re not included in the booklet.

So, make sure to check out the astronomy guide in order to make it easier to plan your astrophotography adventures. You can pair it with the Milky Way calendar and chase even more great photo opportunities.
