Manfrotto has launched a new lineup of backpacks made specifically for drones.
The first bag in the series is the Aviator D1, a traditional style camera backpack that swaps the traditional gridded insert design for medium-sized drones, specifically models found in DJI’s Phantom lineup.
The bag is made of an extra-lightweight material that Manfrotto claims is water resistant. The main zippers use a pull-loop design for better grip, while the auxiliary zippers use a more traditional tab design.
One of the more interesting features is a quick-mount system that secures a drone to the outside of the bag for quick transport in the event you don’t want to entirely break down the propellers and such.
If you want to leave the drone home for the day, that’s fine as well. Manfrotto has kept a modular internal design that lets you pack a full-fledged DSLR setup when you’re not feeling like droning for the day.
In addition to the drone, the Aviator D1 can carry a 17” laptop, a standard tablet, a non-gripped DSLR with a medium-length zoom lens and a tripod.
The bag is available starting today for $200.
