yi-4k-reviews

The Yi 4K action camera has been out for a while now and reviews are starting to reel in. We seen quite a few of them (and we will have one of our own soon), but this one review got us thinking that the YI 4K is indeed a gopro killer.

This review from Techmoan has a full breakdown of the camera features, its interface and quite a few sample movies. But before going into the actual comparisson, here is a bit of a price comparisson. On Amazon the Yi 4k is $249. It’s Gopro equivalent (at least spec-wise), which is the Hero4 Black edition is $320. Now, ia $70 (or 20%) enough to sway people from the GoPro brand? Time will tell. At least specs and samples wise looks like we have a real competition.

If you go to the techmoan blog post, you can download several sample movies. As far as I can tell, movie quality is pretty comparable with the Gopro.

We will update as soon as our review is done.
