Kids Hilariously Reacting To An Old Film Camera

Kids reacting to stuff that didn’t exist anymore when they were born is hilarious. TheFineBros recently let kids react to an old-school point-and-shoot film camera, the final video is incredibly funny but see for yourself:
Here are a couple of the best things the kids said in response to the cam:
- There’s something else you gotta do. Smash it into pieces and buy a new one?
- I’ve never seen a camera like this in real life.
- There’s no photo fluid in this thing.
- You guys need film. Oh, like they use in the movies?
- What is film? It’s like one of these camera chips that you put in that gives you storage.

Do people want to ‘smash t into pieces and buy a new one’ whenever they go to an antique shop? Are there no more enquiring minds? It’s more sad than funny.
LOL .. “I feel bad for those people”

My gosh, what a bunch of pretentious and annoying brats.
Only one kid nailed it.
The thing they’ll never understand is the excitement of getting your processed film/slides back from the lab and seeing how it turned out. You actually had to nail your exposure in camera back then. What a novel concept.
It would be fun to watch how they’d react to watching a black-and-white print develop. It was magic when I saw it as a 12-year-old, and it was that way every time I stepped into a darkroom.
I still shoot with two cameras older than the camera in the video, a Canon A-1 that I bought new in 1980, and a used Canon F-1N that I bought used in July 2013. I still use those cameras along with a DSLR that I bought in December 2013.
I shoot with film cameras a lot for fun – I love waiting to see what I have.
I think my all time favourite question was in regards to a camera from the 60’s – “wow that’s so old! Does it have a colour lens? Or is it from when they only had black and white lenses?”
