How to shoot food ads like a pro – even when your budget is tight

Food and drinks in ads always look so appetizing. It may take hours, a professional studio, and expensive gear to create these inviting food ads. But if your budget is tight – you can film them too, with a smartphone and plenty of creativity. This video by a Chinese studio is full of examples to show you how to take high-end food videos on a low-budget. And even if you’re not into food ads at all, I’m sure you’re gonna love the creativity behind these shots.
You can see plenty of example shots in the video, along with the behind the scenes footage. Sometimes, all it takes is dropping some ice and filming in slow motion on a smartphone to get mouth-watering shots. Other times, you need a bit more creativity. My favorites are spinning a corn on a power drill and creating fire behind a burger with a can of aerosol spray and a lighter. It hardly gets more DIY than that.
If you’re on a tight budget and shooting primarily with your smartphone, make sure to watch this video and pick up some of the ideas. And feel free to let us know in the comments what your favorite one is.

Really wouldn’t try the lighter/aerosol trick at home – when things go wrong with that, it’s spectacularly dangerous.
There’s really in no way like visiting an area out of the blue – I completely adore it and I endeavor to dependably photo no less than one new area multi month
