Most often, photo-bombers are those annoying, inebriated trolls lurking in the shadows at parties or on the street. But, every now and then, they come in the form of an innocent and hilarious child.
Knoxville-based photographer Leah Bullard was shooting the wedding of clients Michelle and Anthony when she asked the bride and groom to kiss. It was at the moment that Michelle’s four-year-old daughter, Anderson, decided to steal the show and, with arm wrapped around his neck, plant a kiss firmly on the ring bearer’s lips.
Speaking to the Huffington Post, Bullard recounts, “I set up the entire wedding party for a formal shot as I do with every wedding, and then asked the bride and groom to kiss. Since Anderson had been calling herself the bride the whole day, she assumed I was referring to her and went in for a kiss too.”
I was four years old when I stole my first kiss on the front steps at church, an act that ended with the girl’s father firmly slapping me across the face. Even at four, I probably deserved it and hold no ill will towards the guy to this day. Fortunately for Anderson, the Interweb’s reaction was completely different, finding it absolutely adorable.
It just goes to show that it’s capturing little moments like this which truly makes photography special.
