Today is a sad day, ladies and gentlemen. Fufjifilm has announced it is officially killing off FP–100C, the last of its instant photography peel-apart paper.

This news comes roughly two and a half years after Fujifilm decided to discontinue its faster, monochrome sibling, FP–3000B. This discontinuation marks the end of an era, as Fujifilm will no longer be producing any instant peel-apart film or accessories.

Where do we go from here then? Nowhere, really. All we can hope for is that a company such as The Impossible Project comes along and revives peel-apart instant film as they have Polaroid. In the meantime, stock up while you can. B&H has it on back-order, and Amazon still has some stock left. So you can still secure your spot to get your hands on some.

We have reached out to Fujifilm on where exactly the film is being discontinued. We’ll update the article when we hear back.
