Taking Pictures Is an Animation about an Impossible Love Story between Two Photographers

This two-minute animation, created by Simon Taylor, tells the story of two nature-loving photographers who happen to meet at the park while clicking away at a pigeon.

As you’d expect, they get together and probably live happily ever after.

In real life though they’d probably started arguing about which brand is best, whether or not a UV filter should be used and which mode is best for shooting pigeons.

Jokes aside, Taylor also shared an informative behind-the-scenes video.

While not directly related to photography, planning a shot for the animation does somewhat resemble preparing for a photo shoot.

Those unfamiliar with the world of animation will probably find the video to be rather fascinating and educational for such a short clip.

In case you were wondering, the London based animator said this was a side project that he worked on for a year and a half in his spare time.

Check out our recent post about 5 simple shots you can use to shoot a love story for tips on how to create a boy meets girl video, great slider moves and a bit of info about the awesome Rhino Slider.
