Nikon Z50 promotional images leak ahead of official announcement
by 8 CommentsIt’s not quite official, but almost. Nokishita has posted a couple of Nikon Z50 promotional images to Twitter ahead of an official announcement from Nikon. When images like these leak, an actual announcement is almost certainly within a few days away.
Nokishita leaked a not great Z50 photo earlier along with the new 16-50mm APS-C Z mount lens, although it did show something of the camera’s form, which isn’t all that different from the “Z1” photo which got out several months ago. It looks like I called it on the APS-C Z Mount mirrorless, too (despite the “FX” logo on the body).

One eagle-eyed Redditor by the name of jadware spotted that there was a $1,899 price tag embedded right in the HTML source for the product page on the Sigma website, despite not being shown on the page visibly.

My adventures and experiences with the Panasonic S1R mirrorless camera over the past three months
by 8 CommentsIf you’re wondering why someone who loves Sigma cameras and gets called the ‘Foveon Wizard’ by his peers is writing about the Panasonic Lumix S1R I need to take you back to 2007.
Back then my love for gadgets and tech-related things eventually lead me to buying a Panasonic Lumix Fz8, a small bridge camera with a 36-432mm f2.8-f3.2 zoom lens. That was my first entry into the world of photography.

The A7R IV comes with a 61-megapixel sensor, 15 stops of dynamic range, 4K UHD video with 5-axis in-body image stabilisation (IBIS), with what Sony claims is “medium format level” image quality.
