Along with a new MFT lens, Olympus has also announced the OM-D E-M1 Mark III camera. It’s a successor of the OM-D E-M1 Mark II, released in 2016. But other than improved in-body image stabilization and dedicated AF mode for the starry sky, this camera doesn’t seem to have any major improvements.

Granted, it’s not much of a pocket camera once you stick one of those L mount Art series lenses on it, but the Sigma FP is still a pretty tiny camera. It represents Sigma’s first L mount camera in the Sigma/Leica/Panasonic alliance announced at Photokina 2018. It’s not quite the full-frame Foveon beast we hoped for, but it still looks pretty good.

We caught up with Sigma at PhotoPlus 2019 to find out more about the Sigma FP and what it can do.

The Panasonic S1H is a full-frame mirrorless camera aimed primarily at movie shooters. Thanks to its stellar video features, it has made it into the “big league.” It’s the first mirrorless camera to be certified by Netflix. In other words, it’s the only mirrorless camera Netflix allows to be used as a primary camera on productions. And since it’s on the same list with high-end movie cameras, it’s also the cheapest among them.

It’s not quite official, but almost. Nokishita has posted a couple of Nikon Z50 promotional images to Twitter ahead of an official announcement from Nikon. When images like these leak, an actual announcement is almost certainly within a few days away.

Nokishita leaked a not great Z50 photo earlier along with the new 16-50mm APS-C Z mount lens, although it did show something of the camera’s form, which isn’t all that different from the “Z1” photo which got out several months ago. It looks like I called it on the APS-C Z Mount mirrorless, too (despite the “FX” logo on the body).

There’s something to be said for rooting around in the HTML source of manufacturer websites when new product pages pop up. And certainly there seems to be something to it when it comes to Sigma. One eagle-eyed Redditor by the name of jadware spotted that there was a $1,899 price tag embedded right in the HTML source for the product page on the Sigma website, despite not being shown on the page visibly.
