Lens manufacturer Veydra HQ broken into, over 200 lenses stolen

Filmmakers, Veydra fans and everyone who is interested in lenses, pay attention! Last night, someone broke into Veydra headquarters in California and stole over 200 Veydra Mini Prime Lenses.

The company is offering a reward for any information that could lead to returning the stolen lenses back to their inventory.

Veydra has issued the announcement on their Facebook page, inviting everyone to share and help find the thieves. Considering that over 200 lenses are missing from the inventory, it will take time to fill the orders.

  • Veydra 25mm T2.2 Mini Prime Lens (Sony E-Mount, Feet)

  • Veydra 25mm T2.2 Mini Prime Lens (MFT Mount, Metric)
  • Veydra 35mm T2.2 Mini Prime Lens (Sony E-Mount, Feet)
  • Veydra 12mm T2.2 Mini Prime Lens (MFT Mount, Feet)
  • Veydra 35mm T2.2 Mini Prime Lens (MFT Mount, Feet)
  • Veydra 35mm T2.2 Mini Prime Lens (MFT Mount, Meters)
  • Veydra 50mm T2.2 Mini Prime Lens (Sony E-Mount, Feet)
  • Veydra 50mm T2.2 Mini Prime Lens (MFT Mount, Meters)
  • Veydra 50mm T2.2 Mini Prime Lens (MFT Mount, Feet)
  • Veydra 16mm T2.2 Mini Prime Lens (MFT Mount, Feet)

The prices for these lenses go between $799 and $1049. Considering the number of stolen lenses, the damage is somewhere between $160,000 and $210,000.
