Photographers mainly use light tents for capturing product shots. But have you thought of fitting a human into a portable light tent? Konseen Photo Studio is a pop-up light tent that lets you photograph portraits. It’s foldable and comes with the built-in LED light, so you can set everything up without hassling with too much gear.

Foldable light-tents for portraits aren’t all that new. But, this one has an advantage of the built-in LED lighting. It contains 8 LED Beads Strips, each strip containing 96 LED beads. The lights are dimmable, so you can adjust them to the needs of your shots, and they have a color temperature of 5500K.

The tent seems rather simple to set up. The frame is set up by convenient joints, and the tent body is made with zippers and hook-and-loop fasteners. You get three background boards with the tent (black, blue, white) to add different backgrounds to your shots.

The Konseen Photo Studio comes in two sizes: there’s a larger 47”x39”x78” version for $380 and a smaller, “children version” (47″x32″x63″) for $320.

Now, I don’t think this light tent can replace a professional studio, of course. But, it can be a handy solution if you’re shooting in very small spaces. For example, if you shoot where you live (like I do), this can come in handy and save up some space if your flat is small.

Or you could make one out of PVC pipe for a fraction of the cost. After all, this is supposed to be a DIY website.
