When it comes to quick tip, it does not get any quicker than this. Instructable’s Paige Russell came up with this quick and clever short run dolly with a book for cart and corn starch for wheels or bearings.
You would need a book as a cart which would act as a sliding surface. And a fine powder as makeshift bearings. (baking soda, corn starch, powdered sugar, cream of tartar or similar)
Then, all you need to do is to create a trail of powder, and place the book over it and pull. (Paige tried pushing too, but she got better results pulling).

well, why can’t you just put some marples from your kids under the book? would be the same effect without messing up you book cover…and probably will work even better…
Agreed. Perhaps using something like a billiards rack, though shorter, to keep the marbles from going every-which-way.

I’d have probably dropped that book in a gallon freezer bag first…
