After Getty and Canon, it was only a matter of time before we’d see the inside of Nikon’s NPS facilities at the Rio2016 Olympic Games. As with the others, it’s a pretty immense stockpile of gear.

Of course, with the number of competitors, events and photographers there, it’s not really a surprise. Also, with the amount of gear that will likely be damaged or stolen, they’ll want to keep their pro users happen.

There’s not much to say, so I shall just let you enjoy the view.

It’s a beautiful sight to see so many Nikon D5 and D500 bodies at once. Surprisingly, there also appears to be a few D4s bodies, in there as well. They appear to have left all the lenses at home, though.

Thank you so much to Vincent Kalut for shooting these images and allowing us to share them with you.

“They appear to have left all the lens at home” All those gold and dark grey boxes are lens. All Nikkor 400mm and up lens come with boxes like that…

That’s it? The Canon room blows that away.

Yeah, they should just leave the bodies and lens lying around on tables like bowling pins like Canon. :)

    looks poor compared to canon.

but then support was never a strong point for nikon.

What about lenses?? Canon’s pic was an eyes’ pleasure! Those are “just” tons of D5!

You can’t see the end of the room, but I see lots of lens cases to protect the lenses from rough handling. .

Nice room, but I don’t see many black lens out and about. Canon won the perception battle as I watch on NBC
