GoPro Plus now offers unlimited storage for your photos and videos

GoPro Plus subscription service offers additional benefits to its users. Starting from 30 January 2019, all subscribers will have unlimited cloud storage space for videos and photos, instead of the 35-hour limit they had so far.

The updated GoPro Plus service now allows unlimited cloud backup for videos. Storage space for photos was already unlimited, so this remains unchanged. The service is designed specifically for Wi-Fi-equipped cameras such as Hero5, Hero6 and Hero 7. GoPro Plus subscribers can automatically upload everything they shoot on the cloud, which spares them from transferring footage and photos to a computer and then uploading to the cloud.

In addition to the unlimited storage, there’s also an increased discount on GoPro accessories. Subscribers will now have 50% off most mounts and accessories, compared to the previous 20% discount. The service is optional, and the price hasn’t changed: it costs $5 per month.

If you are already subscribed to GoPro Plus service, I believe that you are familiar with the additional benefits you have. For example, the subscription allows you to replace your smashed GoPro for a new one, no questions asked.

You can find more information about GoPro Plus here, and if you are not sure whether this service is for you, you can give it a spin for a month without paying. But if you use your GoPro camera a lot and buy a lot of accessories, I guess that subscribing for GoPro plus service might come in handy.
