It can be paralyzing. Watching Gen Z photographers reminds me that photography doesn’t always need to be confined to a formula. There’s value in experimentation and flexibility, in allowing mistakes and unexpected results to guide your work. The younger generation’s approach encourages you to take risks, embrace lo-fi aesthetics, and focus on what the image communicates emotionally rather than how clean or polished it is.
