Fujifilm has announced X-H1, their latest mirrorless digital camera. The 24.3 MP sensor and X-Processor Pro Engine promise high-quality images and low noise even at high ISO. It’s equipped with 5-axis image stabilization, shoots 4K at 24fps, and Full HD at up to 120fps.
Fujifilm X-H1 features 24.3MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS III sensor. The low-pass filter is omitted, which should give you higher image quality. ISO ranges from 200 to 12,800 or 100 to 51,200 in extended mode. As for continuous shooting, X-H1 shoots 14 fps when working with an electronic shutter, or 8 fps with a mechanical shutter.
The AF system employs 325 total points and utilizes both contrast- and phase-detection methods. 5-axis sensor-shift system promises effective image stabilization that facilitates shooting even in low light.
It seems Fujifilm X-H1 was made with filmmakers in mind. The camera shoots 4K at 24fps and high-speed video mode that boasts Full HD 1080p video at up to 120 fps. The internal F-log recording was added, as well as ETERNA mode that simulates cinematic film. The camera body is weather-sealed, equipped with dual card slots and three-way tilt screen.
