You can now finally schedule Instagram posts in the app

If you see your Instagram account as a necessary evil to promote your work, you’ll be happy with its latest feature. From now on, owners of Professional accounts will finally be able to schedule posts. In other words, you’ll no longer need to use Meta’s Creator Studio or third-party services, but the scheduling feature will be built in right there in the app.
The feature is currently being tested and lets you schedule photos, carousels, and Reels up to 75 days in advance. To access it, create your post and go to “Advanced Settings.” From there, select “Schedule this post” and select the time and date when you want it to be published. Then, navigate back to your post and click “Schedule.” According to TechCrunch, you’ll find your scheduled posts in the “Scheduled Content” section, accessible through the hamburger menu.
For now, the scheduling feature is only available for Professional (Business and Creator) accounts. As I mentioned, it’s still being tested so not all of you can see it. I really hoped I would, but I’m not in the test group. But some nice people who got the feature shared how it looks, so here’s a screenshot:

Instagram hasn’t revealed whether it will also be rolled out to users who only use personal accounts. Still, if you do own a business or you’re a digital creator, it costs nothing to switch to a Professional account. It has some perks – and scheduling posts is now one of them.

Its about time! especially as external services have been offering this for quite a bit of time
Doesn’t look like I have it yet. I’m supposedly signed up for beta through the Play store, but I always seem to be the last to see new features.
