Watch: Wedding photographer falls into a pool while shooting the ceremony

When you’re focused on getting the perfect shot, you may forget about everything around you. Even a swimming pool that’s right behind you. This is exactly what happened to a team photographer of Aperina Studios. While shooting the ceremony at a grand Indian wedding, he fell into a pool behind him. The moment was caught on camera, showing the soaking wet photographer, as well as the bride and groom’s priceless reaction.

Brothers Vitaliy and Paul Lyubezhanin are the owners of Aperina Studios. They’re based in Northern California, but do luxury wedding photography and videography all over the world. They were shooting this gorgeous wedding in July, and one of the photographers was eager to capture the couple’s exit after they were pronounced husband and wife. He apparently got a little too focused on getting the shot, so he took a dip. Aperina Studios posted the video of the mishap on TikTok, where it quickly became viral.

Vitaliy was filming the same moment in slow motion, so he was able to capture the couple’s reaction. It’s absolutely adorable in my opinion, considering that everything ended well. Vitaliy swung the camera around when he heard people yelling and then captured what caused that shock on the couple’s faces: the photographer was climbing out of the pool, soaking wet.

The first question that might pop to your mind must be, “Did the gear survive?” I’m happy to tell you that both gear and the photographer were just fine and unharmed. He stole a show for a while, apparently, but I’m sure that the newlyweds forgave him.

Funnily enough, this isn’t the first time we see a video of a photographer losing their spatial awareness near water. In fact, I remember two videos like this from earlier. Thankfully, everything ended well this time so we can laugh with the photographer, not at him. I’m sure he got some awesome shots, which you’ll see on Aperina Studios’ YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.
