Wacom has introduced two new additions to its Intuos Pro lineup: the Intuos Pro Creative Pen Tablet Medium and Small. The tablets are designed for entry- to mid-level users and are packed with features that cater to illustrators, designers, and photographers seeking precision, versatility, and seamless workflow.
Both the Medium and Small models share core features, but they differ slightly in size and functionality to suit varying user needs.
Key Features of the Intuos Pro Medium and Small Tablets

Precision and Control with the Wacom Pro Pen 3
At the heart of both tablets is the Wacom Pro Pen 3, a highly responsive stylus that delivers 8,192 levels of pressure sensitivity and supports 60° tilt recognition. This makes sure that every stroke, line, and detail is captured with accuracy. The pen also features three customizable buttons, which lets you assign shortcuts or functions for quick access.
One of the standout features of the Pro Pen 3 is its electromagnetic resonance technology, which eliminates the need for charging. This means you can work uninterrupted for as long as your creativity flows. The pen also comes with customizable grips, switch inserts, and weights, giving you a comfortable and personalized experience.
Active Area and Aspect Ratio
The Medium model boasts a 10.4 x 5.8-inch active area with a 16:9 aspect ratio, making it ideal for people who prefer a larger workspace. The Small model, on the other hand, features a 7.4 x 4.1-inch active area with the same 16:9 aspect ratio. Both sizes are designed to complement modern widescreen monitors so that your hand movements align seamlessly with what you see on screen.

Customizable ExpressKeys and Radial Dials
Both tablets come equipped with programmable ExpressKeys and radial dials. The Medium model offers 10 ExpressKeys and dual radial dials, while the Small model includes 5 ExpressKeys and a single radial dial. These customizable controls allow you to assign shortcuts, adjust brush sizes, zoom in and out, and perform other frequently used functions with ease.
Connectivity Options
Both tablets support USB and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, giving users the flexibility to work wirelessly or via a direct connection. The Bluetooth 5.3 technology ensures a stable and low-latency connection, allowing you to place the tablet anywhere in your workspace without worrying about tangled cables. The included USB-C to USB-A cable also enables you to recharge the tablet’s 1,200mAh battery while working, ensuring uninterrupted productivity.
All-Day Productivity
The Intuos Pro tablets are designed to keep up with modern creative demands. They have a battery life of up to 16 hours, so you can work through the day without having to stop and recharge. The battery charges rapidly, reaching full capacity in approximately 2 hours with fast charging or 3.5 hours with normal charging.
Compatibility and Accessories
Both tablets are compatible with Windows 10 and macOS 13 or later. The package includes a pen stand and various nibs, allowing you to customize the feel and friction of the pen to suit your preferences.
Price and Availability
Both tablets are available to pre-order now. The Small tablet is $249.95, the Medium tablet costs $379.95.
