As part of dominating world commerce, Amazon starts selling prints too

It seems that amazon is everywhere. After conquering books, retail, TV, having a go with groceries, Amazon is now going for another market – prints.
In a post to Amazon’s blog, the retail giant shares that they will offer 4×6 prints for $0.09, photo books starting at $19.99 and double sided cards for $0.75.
With this move Amazon is challenging the Walmarts and Targets printing service, but also online services like blurb and Shutterfly.
To promote the new service Amazon are now offering 50 free prints (though at $0.09/print, this offer is only “worth” $4.5).
Quality-wise, we will have to stand by and see how they match, if you tried the service, we’d love to know your impressions in the comments.

P.S. just make sure you don’t send anything shot against a white backdrop, Amazon has a patent on this.

It is OK. But, Amazon’s lack of mounting options and anything beyond 8×10 makes it not really worth my time.
