Photographers have plenty of ways to show off their favorite camera brand, from wearing logo T-shirts to filling their bags with branded accessories. Nikon is offering something a little more suited to the office with a handmade leather business card holder inspired by the design of its cameras.
The Nikon Leather Business Card Holder, Black x Red, is scheduled for release on November 2, 2026, exclusively through Nikon Direct in Japan. It costs 8,800 yen (about $55) and is available only to Nikon Imaging members.

Camera inspired details in leather
The business card holder uses domestically tanned Japanese cowhide with a textured finish designed to recall the surface of Nikon camera bodies. A red foil stamped line on the flap references the red accent associated with Nikon’s camera design, while a subtle Nikon logo is engraved inside.
The design is relatively understated, making it suitable for formal business settings without turning the accessory into an oversized advertisement for the brand.
Nikon says the holder is made by a Tokyo leather goods workshop with more than 60 years of history. Each piece is crafted by hand, and the company notes that the leather should become more comfortable to hold with use.
There are no camera functions here, of course, and the product is not intended to improve anyone’s photography. Instead, it takes familiar elements of Nikon’s hardware design and applies them to an everyday item.

Region specific photography company merch
Camera manufacturers have long sold accessories and merchandise that let customers carry their brand loyalty beyond the camera bag. But some of these products are tied to particular regional stores or markets, making them less familiar to photographers elsewhere.
Nikon’s card holder is one example. It is sold through Nikon Direct in Japan, with in person viewing available at Nikon Plaza Tokyo and Nikon Plaza Osaka. The company does not list it as a general international release.
For photographers outside Japan, the availability restriction may be as notable as the price. At 8,800 yen, the holder sits firmly in premium accessory territory, especially compared with ordinary business card cases. Its appeal will depend on the quality of the leatherwork and how much buyers value the Nikon inspired design.

Would you put Nikon in your pocket?
The holder is a niche product, but it offers a different take on camera merchandise. Rather than another branded strap or camera bag, it is an everyday office accessory that borrows a few visual cues from Nikon’s cameras.
For Nikon fans who collect unusual brand merchandise, it could be an appealing addition. The question is how far you would go to bring your favorite camera brand into your everyday life.
