Man saves his drone a split second before it plunges into water

If your drone’s battery runs out while it’s flying above water, you’re screwed, right? Well, a man named Dave Svorking managed to save his drone a split second before it hit the water surface. And the best of all is – this spectacular rescue was captured by the drone and you can see it in the video below.

As you can see in the video, the guys started running as soon as they noticed that the battery was going to die. One of them jumped into the water and started swimming toward the drone, and the timing was absolutely perfect. If had gotten there a split second later, the drone would have hit the water surface.

Some commenters on YouTube have noticed a dead fish in the water, indicating that the lake probably isn’t very clean. But honestly, I believe most of us would try and save the pricey piece of gear like this guy did. Although I’m not sure if everyone would have a timing this good.
