DIY: How to organize your messy cords and cables using only zip ties
Most of the DIY projects we share here at DIY Photography are based specifically around photography gear. That isn’t the case this time around, but that doesn’t mean this clever little DIY hack can’t make your life a heck of a lot easier.
Today, we’ve come across a unique little trick to organize ables and cords. All you need is a handful of zip-ties, a little patience and a pair of wire cutters (or other sharp object).
As you might notice, this particular DIY project is being done under the hood of a vehicle for spark plug wires. The basic principle, however, can be applied to almost any collection of cables or cords you can imagine, from those behind your desk to those used on-location for photo shoots.
Considering how cheap zip-ties are, it’s a no-brainer hack always worth keeping in mind for untangling the various rats nests you may have hiding in your home or in your camera bag.
