Comedy Pet Photo Awards 2021 is open for entries; here are some unseen photos to inspire you

It’s not an April Fool’s joke – Animal Friends Comedy Pet Photo Awards has just announced its 2021 competition. This year’s contest is now open for entries, seeking funny images of your animal best friends. And to inspire you, the contest organizers have shared a collection of hilarious images that we haven’t seen before. It’s not a prank, but it will make you laugh for sure.

Just like always, absolutely anyone is invited to enter: photographers of all ages, from all over the globe; amateur, aspiring enthusiasts, or professionals. After all, we all love photographing our pets, right? The Animal Friends Comedy Pet Photo Awards is calling for entries up until 15 August in the following categories:

• Dogs
• Cats
• Horses
• All the Other Creatures
• Pets who look like their owners
• Junior
• Video

The winner will receive a cash prize of £2,000 and the flattering title of 2021 Animal Friends Comedy Pet Photographer of the Year.

This year, the contest teams up with Animals Friends Insurance to donate £10,000 to the UK-based charity Animal Support Angels. It’s a welfare charity supporting pets and pet owners by providing food, shelter, warmth, veterinary support, re-homing, and animal welfare care to relieve the suffering of animals.

So, what are you waiting for? Grab your camera and go take photos of your adorable cat, dog, bunny, snake, tarantula, horse, hen… All pets are welcome! :) And then, you can submit them for the contest on its website. But first, check out some hilarious pet photos below!
