A family looking for a photographer to travel the world with them, pays over $100,000

Traveling the world, taking photos and getting paid for it sounds like a dream come true. Well, if this is your dream, pay attention. A UK-based family is looking for a photographer to travel the world with them and capture their family moments. They’re paying £80,000 (over $101,000) per year, plus travel, food and accommodation fees.

Perfocal has recently shared this “unique request” coming from the UK family. They have chosen to stay anonymous for now, until the applicants are narrowed down, “due to the high profile nature of the father’s job.”

What they offer sounds too good to be true. The photographer is expected to travel around the world with the family up to three months at a time. They’ll be visiting places and events around Europe, North and South America, and Australia and the photographer is expected to preserve the precious moments. In return, he or she will be paid £80,000 per year with all the fees on top of the salary, as I mentioned in the introduction. In addition, the photographer will have a full sick pay and 30 days holiday.

While this is a great opportunity, the family notes that it’s also a commitment. The photographer will have to work up to 10 hours a day. He or she needs to be able to leave home at short notice and be prepared to travel for the most part of the year. Also, at least five years’ experience is required, and the shortlisted applicants will undergo a background check.

If you’re up for this challenge/opportunity, you can apply via Perfocal. And I’m curious to know, how does this sound to you? Will you apply?
