There is much controversy over the last presidential administration and many heated opinions about former Vice President Dick Cheney. But, this isn’t a political forum, so let’s stay focused…
September 11, 2001 was a day that shocked the nation, regardless of whether you subscribe to the government’s narrative or to the many conspiracy theories that have followed. Now, thanks to a Freedom of Information request, the U.S. National Archives has released to the public a collection of images of Mr. Cheney from that day, many taken inside the President’s Emergency Operations Center.
Some of the images convey the weight of the situation being faced, while others simply look like another day at the office or a glib response to a national tragedy.

View the entire collection in the National Archives Flickr stream.
I must say, though… It’s gotta be disheartening to work as a staff photographer for the government, who credits your photos simply as “Office of Management and Administration.”

Don’t say don’t make it political. This man is scum and represents everything that is not American. May the devil find a good job for him in Hades.
This reprehensible pig’s rear end was/is a war monger.
You can see it in his DC eyes, the eyes the guilt. 9/11 was an inside job. They should have also posted the photos from Putin archives.
You people are delusional
it takes a certain kind of fool to judge a man they clearly no nothing about.
I am ashamed of you and embarrassed for you.
What this episode flagged for the first time, and was borne out over the following years of the administration, and even in their post-administration behavior, was that Cheney ran the US government and Bush was his sock puppet. Citizens can think what they like about the administration, but it was Cheney’s.
