TTArtisan has launched the 35mm f/0.95, a cheap, lightweight, ultra-fast lens for APS-C mirrorless cameras. It comes in six different mounts, and if you’ve wanted to try out a fast lens like this, it could be a great choice because it’s the cheapest one there is.

The TTArtisan 35mm f/0.95 is a manual focus lens, which can be a bit tricky due to its extra-shallow depth of field when it’s wide open. Still, you can’t expect AF with a $200 ultra-fast lens, so I guess this is an ideal first-time lens like this. You know, to see if you like it at all.

With an aperture that fast, you get an ideal lens for low-light conditions. It has a 10-blade diaphragm for smooth bokeh. It’s made for APS-C cameras, giving you 52.5 or 56 mm- equivalent focal length, depending on your camera brand. Keep in mind that you can also use it on a full-frame camera in APS-C mode.

Here are the specs:

The lens is available for orders and it comes in six mounts:  Fuji X, Sony E, Nikon Z, Canon EOS-M, Canon RF, and Leica L. It’s currently priced at $199, and the regular price is only insignificantly higher: $209.99.
