Røde Microphones has just announced the new Wireless GO, the world’s smallest digital wireless microphone/receiver combination. It’s a tiny and lightweight system which will make life easier for various types of content creators, from journalists to vloggers.
Adobe has announced today a groundbreaking addition to After Effects: content-aware fill for video. The feature is powered by Adobe Sensei, the company’s AI platform which helps to remove various visual elements automatically. This feature has been available in Photoshop, and it makes it much easier for photographers to remove unwanted objects from images. But now, the same feature is coming to After Effects, making life easier for video editors, too.
Teased last week, Insta360 has today launched the new Insta360 EVO, a 360° camera that also turns into a stereoscopic 3D 180° camera. Like the Insta360 ONE X, the Insta360 EVO shoots 5.7K 360° video, and 18-megapixel 360° still photos.
What’s very cool, though, is that the stereo 3D 180° view comes with the same FlowState stabilisation afforded to the Insta360 ONE X camera. From personal experience, I can say that on ONE X footage, you’d swear it was shot from a gimbal. If the EVO maintains this level of stability, it will be something of a breakthrough for small stereo 180° cameras.
