Tripods are one of the most inconvenient pieces of equipment to store. Sure, you can try to stand them upright or even buy tripod bags, but the reality is neither of those options are much more convenient than laying them in a pile on the floor.

To solve this problem, the team at Lixi Studios came up with a clever solution to end tripod chaos once and for all. The secret? A snowboard rack.

As the video below shows, a surfboard/snowboard rack can be used to hang your tripods neatly on the wall. The Lixi Studio team decided to go with Pro Board Racks, which come in multiple sizes.

Simply mount the rack to your wall and neatly line up your tripods as you see fit. No floor space it taken up, no bags need to be unzipped and overall it’s a far more intuitive solution than what you likely have at the moment.

You can pick up the four-level rack Lixi Studio uses on Amazon for roughly $60.
