ShiftCam LensUltra Explorer Series: Zoom All the Way In

The LensUltra Explorer Series features a 240mm equivalent 10x periscope telephoto lens built to seamlessly attach to smartphones. Thanks to ShiftCam’s multi-element optical design, the company promises sharpness throughout the frame with minimal distortion and chromatic aberration. This kind of zoom allows you to shoot things like close-ups at concerts or sports events, and wildlife photography, all with your phone.

A notable addition to ShiftCam’s new lens series is the macro converter system. It turns the telephoto lens into a macro lens with up to 40x magnification. So, you can switch to macro and get close-ups of textures, insects, flowers, and whatever’s around you. Personally, that’s always been my favorite thing to do with my phone camera. The system is compact and portable, so it’s easy to switch between telephoto and macro modes.

Complementing the lens is a set of three filters–CPL, variable ND (1–5 stops), and 6–9 stop ND filters. They help you to reduce glare, enhance colors, and get long-exposure stills or perfectly exposed videos. They also seamlessly pair with all compatible ShiftCam lenses, offering you a pretty adaptable and rounded up ecosystem.

The ShiftCam LensUltra Explorer Series will be available starting October 1, 2025. The lens system mounts onto ShiftCam cases and rigs.
