Red Bull Illume invites you to enter the contest with these stunning action photos

If you’re into action, adventure, and sports photography or videography, here’s a contest you’d not want to miss. The world’s largest contest for action and adventure sports photography, Red Bull Illume Image Quest, is back in action for its seventh edition. You’ve got a month left to submit your photos, and folks from Red Bull want to inspire you with some stunning photos!

The contest is open to everyone: amateur and pro photographers; social media creators and dedicated videographers. Why should you enter? Here’s what Will Saunders, the grand winner from 2021, has to say:

“Winning was beyond special and I would encourage everyone to check out Red Bull Illume and submit your photos. You never know. I never thought this would happen. Red Bull Illume is all about blending art and sport. It’s a special competition because it pushes both athletes and photographers to create something new.”

To keep things exciting and diverse, this year’s competition has ten different categories. These categories range from fresh, unedited RAW shots, creatively edited photos to the ever-popular video category. But keep in mind that, this year, there’s a limit – you can submit up to five entries per category. Also, all your entries must have been captured after August 1, 2021.

After the submission period ends, an international judging panel will select the winners, which will be revealed in the fall of 2023. They then travel the world as part of a global exhibition tour, alongside the stories behind the shot and about the photographer.
